Features
Everything on this page works today. What is coming is on the roadmap, kept separate on purpose.
Capturing
- A rolling buffer
- The last minute of your game is always in memory. Press your hotkey and it becomes a file.
- Full recordings
- Start and stop a normal recording when you want the whole thing, not just the end of it.
- Screenshots
- A separate hotkey, saved beside your clips.
- It finds the game
- Steam, Epic and GOG are read directly. Games those do not list, like Roblox and Minecraft through Prism, are recognised too.
- Captures the window
- Just the game, not your desktop, notifications or second monitor.
- Pauses when you leave
- Alt-tab and it stops. What was already buffered is kept. You can turn this off.
Your machine
- Hardware encoding
- Recording runs on your graphics card, on the one already driving your display.
- Nothing uploads by itself
- Clips are written to your disk. Uploading is a button, and it makes a copy.
- Yours after you leave
- Signing out, changing plan or deleting your account never touches a file on your PC.
- Audio you choose
- Game sound, specific apps, or everything except one thing. Your microphone is off unless you turn it on.
Around it
- A local library
- Clips and screenshots with thumbnails, grouped by game.
- Discord presence
- Your friends list shows what you are capturing, with the game's icon. There is a switch to turn it off.
- Accounts
- Sign in with Discord or an email and password. Every signed in machine is listed, and any of them can be signed out.
- Works offline
- Capture never waits for a server. Being offline is not being signed out.
